The incident which took place in the early hours of the night in Abiakpo road Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom as reported by a Facebook user.
The Facebook User identified as Blessing Bassey who posted the graphic photos on her timeline stressed that there has been no light for some days in the area when suddenly the light was put on and the suspected criminal was electrocuted as he was not having any safety vest when he was found in the morning electrocuted.

Another Facebook user, Yuddie Stephen also stated that the area has been suffering for lack of electricity due to constant stealing of their cable wire connecting to the transformer been vandalized by criminals.
