The Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba stated that the suspension is to take infect on the 31th July 2021 to give room for proper investigation on the allegation levelled against the super cop
The FBI had accused the Nigerian super cop, Abba Kyari on his involvement with an internet fraudstar popularly known as Hushpuppi in duping a Quarter business man.
On Friday 30th July, 2021 the FBI had visited the Inspector General of Police in Nigeria showing documented evidence showing the communication and relationship between the Nigeria super cop, Abba Kyari and Raymond popularly known as Hushpuppi.
Sources revealed that as at Friday 30th July, 2021 Abba Kyari did not come anywhere close to his office nor went to the Jumat Friday prayers by all Muslim faithful. Some say the Super cop fears extradition or arrest by the FBI.
