The state chairman of the opposition party PDP has decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.
The peoples democratic party state chairman has resigned as the chairman of the party PDP following the recent resignation of the senate president, Bukola Saraki from the ruling All Progressives Congress APC to the opposition party PDP.
TVC news reports that Iyiola Oyedepo the Peoples Democratic Party state chairman in a live telephone radio program in illorin the kwara state capital revealed that darkness and light can't stay together.
He further disclosed that he is currently in Abuja the country's capital to tender his resignation letter at the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) secretariat.
His words.
"Darkness and light can never work together and I can never work with Saraki. I will rather pitch my tent with the APC instead of working with Saraki in PDP." He said.
This is coming barely 24 hours after the Senate president, Bukola Saraki tendered his resignation from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the opposition party PDP.
The senate president made this known though his twitter handle stating that the reason he joined the APC was because of the party's "Change" promise but the party has failed to do that.
