In a briefing, the governor urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to follow due process on Nnamdi Kanu case as to follow the rule of law.
The governor also called on the Federal Government to also use the effort used in arresting Nnamdi Kanu in a foreign country to do same to bandits and Fulani Militias

Governor Samuel Ortom further argued that Miyetti Alah leaders terrorising the country, killing innocent people and destroying farm lands cannot be working freely and Nnamdi Kanu who is seeking the freedom of his people is arrested.
