The Senate President expressed happiness over the conduct of the party at the just concluded presidential primary. Saraki took to his Instagram page to thank all party faithfuls and congratulated the former Vice President stating that the Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar deserves it.
Sakari while expressing gratitude over the victory assured the Presidential candidate elect that he will work with him and also other aspirants in making sure he(Atiku) becomes Nigeria next president come 2019.
"Today is a great day for our party, PDP, because it has shown what men and women of our party can do. Today has shown that the interest of our party is more important than our individual interest.
"I want to thank Governor Okowa for planning and organizing this transparent, free and fair Presidential Primary and Convention.
