The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has announced the 2018 Osun governorship election inconclusive following the numbers of cancelled votes.
According to the Electoral body(INEC), The governorship election was announced inconclusive because the number of cancelled votes is higher than the margin between the two major contestants in the 2018 Osun governorship election.
The returning officer for the election, professor Joseph Afuape declared the election inconclusive stating that the electoral body will announce a date when another ballot will take place.
His words:
"Unfortunately, as the returning officer, it is not possible to declare any party as the clear winner of this election at the first ballot.
"The Independent National Electoral Commission will announce a date when another ballot will take place. I hereby declear the election inconclusive." He said.
The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) candidate Ademola Adeleke had scored 254,698 votes while is closest contendant of the All Progressive Congress(APC), Gboyega Oyetola scored 254,345 votes.
The electoral body however stated that, the margin was less than 3,498 votes in the polling units where voting was cancelled.

An England football club, Asernal FC has signed 9 year old Jayden Adetiba after few weeks of trial.
The nine(9) year old Nigerian footballer, Jayden Adetiba was signed into the club in South Africa after spending five weeks on trial.
Before the new deal, Jayden had played for SuperSport United Soccer School.
Confirming Jayden moves report by Independent UK, Jayden's father took to his twitter handle to share the nine(9) year old Jayden join the international big club alongside his photo.

"I thank God and my parents for this. I am very happy. I train three times a week at the academy and we have a match at the weekend. The amazing thing is, I have always been an Arsenal fan and I will work hard every day to make the first team. He said.

The Nigerian actress/producer Nnaji's comedy movie 'Lionsheart' acquired international recognition by Netflix prior to its Toronto premiere tomorrow.
The Nigerian comedy movie which featured Peter Okoye "Mr P", Kanayo .O. Kanayo, Nkem Owoh, Pete Edochie, Kalu Ikeagwu and lots more.
The movie will premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival(TIFF). The movie which was directed by Genevieve Nnaji plays the role Adaeze a level headed executive in her fathers bus company, Lion heart Transport.
