Boko Haram leader Shakau appears in new video claims responsibility over recent attacks in the country

The leader of the terrorist group Boko Haram, Abubakar Shakau has apeared in a reent video claiming responsibility over attaccks in the country.


The leader of the terrorist group, Abubakar Shakau in a 31 minutes video released on tuesday 2 January, 2018 said that the group is in good shape and healthy.
Responding to the govenment claim that the group has been defeated, Shakau speaking in Hausa language said that the Nigerian police, troops and those speaking mischuef against the group can't do anything to the jihadist group.

He was quoted as saying:

"We are in good health and nothing has happened to us. Nigeria troops, police and those creating mishief against us can't do anything to us, and you will gain nothing.

"We carried out the attacks in Maiduguri, in Gamboru in Damboa. We carried out these attaccks." Shakau said.

The Boko Haram leader in the video also claim the attacks during the Christmas festiv period.
