Man who climbed high billboard yesterday in Yola, Adamawa State capital has been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force.
The middle aged man, Faro who climbed a 40 meter-high billboard hanger yesterday threatening to fall and die if the president, Muhammadu Buhari fails to resign as the President.
Faro was said to have remained there until about 8:00pm when some security men came and took him away. The middle aged man told SaharaReporters that the security men told him that Atiku Abubakar had sent them.
"At about 8:00pm, some soldiers came by in the company of some people who claimed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was waiting for me, so i was convinced and i came down."
"They had a car parked waiting to take me to Atiku's house, but unfortunately it was a trick because here i am, they brought me to Jimeta Police Station."
Faro further threatened that his demand still remains that if his demand is not granted immediately he is free from the Police custody, he will climb a taller object possibly a telecommunication mast to carry out his threat.
"But make no mistake about my demand, the moment i regain my freedom, I'll be heading to a taller object possibly a telecommunication mast to carry out my threat." He said.
