IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been featured on the Isreali National Television says the Nigerian government rejected his demands

The Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu who resurface after one year of no communication was featured on the Isreali National Television.

The IPOB leader stated that the Nigerian government kicked out his demand by rejecting it after he was released from prison over a year ago.

Nnamdi Kanu revealed that his demand was for the government of Nigeria to open the Port Harcourt, Igweocha, Warri, Calabar sea ports also dredge River Niger allowing the direct International flight to Europe, USA from Enugu, Igweocha and Calabar airports.

"I told them that i want them to open Igweocha seaport, Port Harcourt" He said.

The IPOB leader also revealed via its Radio Biafra's Facebook page on Sunday "I asked them to open Calabar seaport and Warri seaport, I did this in writing and gave it to them, I told them to dredge River Niger, allow the direct international flight to Europe and USA from Enugu, Igweocha and Calabar airport." 

The IPOB leader also stated that he demanded the release of former Nigerian Security Adviser, Dasuki Sambo and the Shiites leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and the investigation of the mass murder of IPOB family members at Onitcha, Nkpor, Aba, Enugu, Igweocha, Umahia and Asaba.

President Buhari fails to provide credentials to INEC redirects to the Military

President Muhammadu Buhari has submitted affidavit he swore to in place of his credentials to the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC).

According to the Punch, President Muhammadu Buhari had informed the Electoral body INEC that his credentials are not with him as they were in the custody of the Nigerian Military.

The report revealed that the President had failed to submit the necessary documents needed from candidates vying for the position of the Presidency come 2019  general elections.

"I am the above named person and the deponent of this affidavit herein. All my academic qualification documents as filled in my Presidential form, APC/001/2015 are currently with the secretary of the military board as of the time of this affidavit.

It was gathered that all the credentials of those aspiring for the position of the presidency were made available to journalists yesterday, 25th October, 2018.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has submitted all the necessary documents needed for the position.

Atiku was said to have also attached his tax returns indicating he had paid N10.8m in tax from the year 2015 to 2017 and also submitted a diploma in Law from the Ahmadu Bello University in the year 1969 being his highest qualification. 

Police arrest man who climbed billboard hanger because of President Buhari in Yola

Man who climbed high billboard yesterday in Yola, Adamawa State capital has been arrested by men of the Nigerian Police Force.

The middle aged man, Faro who climbed a 40 meter-high billboard hanger yesterday threatening to fall and die if the president, Muhammadu Buhari fails to resign as the President.

Faro was said to have remained there until about 8:00pm when some security men came and took him away. The middle aged man told SaharaReporters that the security men told him that Atiku Abubakar had sent them.


"At about 8:00pm, some soldiers came by in the company of some people who claimed that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar was waiting for me, so i was convinced and i came down."

"They had a car parked waiting to take me to Atiku's house, but unfortunately it was a trick because here i am, they brought me to Jimeta Police Station."

Faro further threatened that his demand still remains that if his demand is not granted immediately he is free from the Police custody, he will climb a taller object possibly a telecommunication mast to carry out his threat.


"But make no mistake about my demand, the moment i regain my freedom, I'll be heading to a taller object possibly a telecommunication mast to carry out my threat." He said.

Nigeria Federal Government set to reduce number of children per mother to two(2)

Federal government of Nigeria is set to implement birth control policy where number of children to a mother will be pegged at two.

The minister of finance, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed has revealed that the Federal Government is considering a birth control policy where the number of children to a mother will be two as to check the poverty length and unemployment in the country.

The Minister yesterday stated that the move was on the notice of the dangers posed by uncontrolled population growth in the country.

Zainab Ahmed further disclosed that the government was making consultations with religious and traditional leaders across the country on the issue after which a policy will be formulated.

"We must find out ways to engage our youths to be active and ensure that transportation is effective, available and reasonably priced." She said. 

Cross River State Government rescue mentally ill family after six years of roaming the streets

Cros River State government has rescued Mr. & Mrs. Ben Ogar in partnership with the Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Calabar.

Mr. & Mrs. Ben Ogar popularly known as 'the Ogoja mentally deranged couple was said to has lost their means of livelihood while residents in Abuja six(6) years ago with two kids.

Reports have it that, Mr. Ben and wife had mental disorder after loosing everything and then relocated himself and wife to his country home, Ogoja in Cross River State.

On getting to his country home with is family, Mr. Ben refused to stay in his father's house rather, in a shanty. It was revealed that when members of the family found out the present condition of Mr. & Mrs. Ben, they rescued the kids from him.

Six years o roaming the streets Ogoja, Mr. & Mrs. Ben had produced three kids, two grls and a boy. 

Confirming the report, Doctors said Mr. Ben was suffering from a mental disorder, while his wife is only having the 'folie a deux' syndrome as a result of her husband's idealization.

The doctors revealed that, the children are in stable condition and are responding to treatment.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Inyang Asibong said that the mentally deranged family are in stable condition and treatment noting that they (Mr. & Mrs. Ben) will be rehabilitated and reintegrated into the society with continuous medical care and social welfare.

Buhari must resign within 12 hours else i will kill myself - Adamawa man declares while on billboard

Lawan Faro a middle aged man has threatened to fall from a billboard he climbed if President Buhari refuses to resign in less than 12 hours.

Lawan Faro in Yola the capital city of Adamawa has climbed a high meter billboard hanger threatening to fall from it if President Buhari fail to resign within 12 hours.

SaharaReporters revealed that, Faro was said to have taken the action due to extreme poverty in the land.

Lawan cried out while speaking to SaharaReporters "I think it's time for Buhari to give way for someone like Atiku Abubakar to lead us out of the present hardship." he said.

The middle aged man further threatened to fall from the top of the billboard and kill himself and will remain on-top of the billboard till 12 hours after which he will fall from it.

"I will remain here for 12 hours to show my discontent and someone not less than Atiku must come here to assure me that this government must be sacked in the forthcoming election."

He said.

President Buhari wife, Aisha Buhari orders security men not to allow the APC national leader,Adams Oshiomole from seeing President Buhari

The Nigeria first lady, Aisha Buhari has ordered the Aso rock security men not to allow the National Chairman of the ruling All Progress Congress(APC), Adams Oshiomole access to the presidency.

According to Thisday report, the first lady was said to order the security men not to allow the APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomole access to the presidency.

The president's wife was said to have been angry with the way the national chairman of the ruling All Progressive Congress(APC) in alleged mismanagement of the party.

The report also stated that Aisha Buhari ordered the president's security personnel not to allow the APC national chairman, Adams Oshiomole come near the presidential residence.

The report revealed that the president's wife is said to be part of a plan by close aides of the president and some governors within the ruling party to remove the national chairman Adams Oshiomole.

This is coming on the hills of the president's wife's brother, Mahmud Ahmed Halihu's inability to get the Adamawa State governorship ticket, this is believed to be the move to finally get the APC national chairman,Adams Oshiomhole out of the way.

The Nigeria Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has congratulated former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar as the winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Primary candidate.
