This was made available to the punch news paper in an interview on Sunday 24th September, 2017 by the Arewa Consultative Forum national publicity secretary, Alhaji Biu Muhammad.
The publicity secretary said that the north will support the call for Restructuring if only it will bring strength and unity in the country and also will give equal opportunities and rights to citizens.
Alhaji Biu said;
"Arewa Consultative Forum respect the view of Nigerians on any structure of government that will strengthen our unity and peaceful coexistence for equitable development.
"Arewa Consultative Forum reaffirm its commitment to one united, indivisible and indissoluble Nigeria with equal rights and opportunities for all.
"We also support due process within our Democratic institutions in effecting any structural change for the common good for all."
He said.
