Iranian President vows to restore peace in Afghanistan

The President of Iran, Ebraham Raisi has vowed to see peace in Afghanistan following the current takeover of Kabul by the Talibans.

The President assured citizens in statement said that he will use his powers to engage the leadership of the Talibans to see that peace is restored in the country.

Meanwhile, the Talibans in it's first ever press conference said that the group has pardoned and given amnesty to everyone who fought against them in the past both citizens and foreigners.

The press conference which was help yesterday 17th August, 2021 also stated that Women are now allowed to go to school and will be allowed into some activities in line with the sharia law.

The group also pleaded with citizens who are trying to flee the country to remain and share their knowledge in building the economy of the country noting that it's soldiers has been instructed not to harass anyone in the country.
