The federal government in a statement made on 17th May, 2018 through the ministry of foreign affairs said the deadly attack carried out by the Israeli soldiers along the border on Gaza Strip that left 58 unarmed Palestinians dead is worrisome.
"The Israeli government must stop such use of excessive force against unarmed civilians, including children and respect the basic human rights of Palestinians as well as international law.
Meanwhile the Israeli security forces said they were responding to attempts carried out by Hamas to carry out terror attacks on Israel at the boundary fence.
The Hamas-run Gaza health ministry earlier reported that 58 person has been reportedly killed by the Israeli forces while more that 1,000 person were injured in the violence clash with the Israeli forces.
