Isreal issue 90 days quit notice to Nigerians and other African countries or face jail term

Isreal has issued a 90 days quit notice to all African countries migrants residing in the country to vacate the country or face jail term.


The Isreali government said that migrants in the country has been populated with many Africans noting that these migrants could threathen Isreal's Jewish character.

The spokeperson for Isreal's Population and Immigration Authority revealed that the ccountry has about 38,000 migrants believed to have entered the country illegally.

The report also stated from the spokesperson that about 1,420 of these migrants are been held and detained in the country's facilities.
The Isreali government also said to offered migrants $3,500 dollars to leave the country as failure to adhere to the order anyone cut will have to serve jail term.
The government also said even the return of the migrants would be voluntary even though the UN Refugee Agency had said the order violate international and Isreali laws.

Most of the migrants who are mostly from Eritree and Sudan said they are in the country to seek shelter and jobs after fleeing persecution and conflicts in their various countries. The report said.
