JUST IN: Governor, Nyesom Wike clashes with minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi in Port Harcourt

The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike's convoy has clashed with the Honourable minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi also the former governor of the state.
According to a statement from the governors spokesperson, Simeon Nwakaudu he said that the governor was on projects inspection in the city and claimed that the minister's convoy attacked the governors vehicle at Trans Amadi road, Nwanja junction.
In a statement obtained by Naij.com he said;

 "The SARS personnel and soldiers in the ministers convoy hit down the governors escort rider and attacked the policemen in the pilot car.
"Mr Debewari aide-de-camp to the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, supervised the attack which included damage of cameras held by journalists. 
Also part of the attack was the Commander of Rivers SARS, Mr Akin Fakorede who received the minister of transportation at the Port Harcourt international Airport and accompanied him on his trip.
"After the attack, the Rivers State governor continued with his inspection of projects. Governor Wike was not harmed, despite the attack."
