Chief of army staff, finally pleads with activists, others to bring an end to insecurity

The Chief of army staff, Lieutenant general Tukur Buratai has pleaded with all media houses and Human rights activist to help promote security in the country.


The army chief disclosed this on Wednesday 4th September, 2017 in Abuja during the Directorate of Army Public Relations Media Workshop and second/Third Quarters Study Period.
Lieutenant general Buratai who was represented by the Commander Army Headquarters Garrison, Major General Malu John urged all media practitioners to support the military in bringing an end to insecurity in the country.

He said:

"The reportage and editorial dimensions taken by journalist will in no small measure aid the efforts of the military."

Buratai added that the role of the information management officers contributes in various theaters of operations where the physical battle space is witnessing serious aggression in form of propaganda.
