The south east governors has come heavily on the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB on the recent deployment of heavy military war carriers in the region causing fear among the people most especially in Abia State.
The governors in an emergency meeting held at the Enugu government house calls the Indigenous People of Biafra led by Nnamdi Kanu to stop every activity being carried out for the break away of the region from Nigeria.
After the two hours meeting held in the state house in Enugu the governor of Ebonyi state read the communiqué.
"All activities of IPOB is hereby proscribe. IPOB and all other aggrieved groups are advised to articulate their position on all national issues and submit to the committee of governors and national assembly members from the southeast zone through the chairman, southeast governors forum."
Those in attendance where all the south east governors accept, the governor of Imo State who was represented by his deputy, others in attendance where, the Ohanaze president, Chief Nnia Nwodo, the Senate deputy president, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, the general office commanding the 82 division, Enugu, Adamu Abubakar.
