A coalition of Northern groups have issued a three months Ultimatum to all Igbo's living in the North to leave or face severe consequences.
The groups who gave the warning in a conference held in Kaduna ask all Igbo's living in the North to leave all the nineteen states in the next three months or face the rought of the north after the expiration of the date.
It was also learnt that the group ask all the northerners living in the south east to return home immediately as there safety in the south east is no longer guaranteed.
In attendance in the conference held in Arewa house, Kaduna State were, Alfred Solomon (Arewa Student Forum), Abdul-Azeez Suleiman (Northern Emancipation Network), Aminu Adam (Arewa Youth Development Foundation), Joshua Viashman (Northern Youth Vanguard), Alhaji Shettima Yerima (Arewa Youths Consultative Forum), and Natura Ashir Sharif (Arewa Citizens Action for Change) who signed the text on the press conference.
Abdul-Azeez Suleiman who is from the Northern Emancipation Network who read the text of the press conference as saying:
"We are hereby placing the Nigerian authorities and the entire nation on notice, that as from the 1st of October 2017 we shall commence the implementation of visible actions to prove to the whole world that we are no longer part of any federal union that should do with the Igbo's. From that date, effective, peaceful and safe mop-up of all the remnant stubborn Igbo's that neglect to heed this quit notice shall commence to finally eject them from every part of the north.
"And finally, all authorities, individuals, or groups are hereby advised against attempting to undermine this declaration by insisting on this union with the Igbo's who have thus far proved to be an unnecessary baggage carried too far and for too long."
