IGP Orders immediate review of fraud allegation on DCP Abba Kyari by FBI
The Inspector General of Police has ordered the immediate review of alleged fraud involvement between Instagram celebrity popularly known as Hushpuppy and DCP, Abba Kyari by the FBI.
The IG made this known via it's verified Facebook page. It reads.
"ALLEGED INDICTMENT OF DCP ABBA KYARI: INSPECTOR-GENERAL OF POLICE ORDERS A REVIEW OF THE INFORMATION.
"Sequel to the receipt of allegation and indictment processes from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) against one of the personnel of the Nigeria Police Force, Abba Kyari, the Inspector General of Police IGP Usman Alkali Baba psc (+), NPM, fdc has ordered an internal review of the allegations.
"The Nigerian Police Force reaffirms it's commitment to the pursuit of Justice and the strengthening of it's professional relationship with the FBI and other international partners.
"Further development on this case will be communicated to members of the public accordingly.

Former Vice President Atiku visits Rivers State as he tour round Southern States
Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is currently on a tour visit to southern states in the country.
The former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently on a visit in Rivers State.
Earlier today the governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Governor Nyesom Wike received the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar at State house, Portharcourt.
Recall that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar had lost the 2015 presidential election to President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress(APC).

Nnamdi Kanu case adjourned till October as SSS fails to produce him in court
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned the hearing of Nnamdi Kanu till October, 2021 following his absence in court.
The State Security Service had failed to produce the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu in court.
The preceding George, Justice Binta Murtala-Nyako stated that the action by the Federal Government of Nigeria not producing Nnamdi Kanu in court is disturbing noting that Mr. Nnamdi Kanu has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
"I am also worried why the defendant is not here, the first step in a criminal matter is to provide the defendant in court." Justice Nyako said.
Meanwhile the Federal Government's lawyer, Mr. Abubakar stated that the government was willing to let trial of Nnamdi Kanu continue in his absence.
Reacting to the adjournment of the case Barrister Ejiofor, lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu told the court that Mr. Nnamdi Kanu's health condition has been deteriorated while in the custody of the DSS demanding that the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra should be released before the next adjournment.
JUST IN: Security Agency arrest two(2) Americans for taking pictures of Federal High Court Abuja
The Nigeria State Security Service has arrested two(2) suspected Americans for taking pictures of the Federal High Court Abuja.
The two(2) suspected Americans was said to be taking pictures of the court where the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB) will be facing trail today.
The Peoples Gazette reports that the suspected Americans where in their hotel room taking pictures of the court. The hotel named Treasure Suits which is located opposite the court was invaded by the DSS and the two(2) Americans where arrested.
It further revealed that the CCTV footage of the hotel was accessed by the security forces and the two Americans taken away on a white Toyota Hilux for interrogation.
Heavy Security presence at court premises as Nnamdi Kanu faces trail today
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has been surrounded by heavy Security forces.
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu will today, 26th July, 2021 appear before the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja over an eleven(11) count charge on terrorism.
Security Agencies has flooded the court environment over a claimed rumored protest by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at the courts premises.
Recall that the leader of the Proscribed group IPOB was arrested by the Nigerian security Agency alongside the Interpol and returned back to Nigeria.
Though the Federal Government of Nigeria has refused to give details on Nnamdi Kanu arrest but the Indigenous People of Biafra has accused the Kenya's Government on it's involvement to the arrest and extradition of their leader Nnamdi Kanu.
Meanwhile the Kenya's Government through it's Ambassador to Nigeria has debunk the claims stating that it's country has no hand on Nnamdi Kanu's arrest and extradition back to Nigeria.

The Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom has aired his voice on the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB),Nnamdi Kanu.
In a briefing, the governor urged the Federal Government of Nigeria to follow due process on Nnamdi Kanu case as to follow the rule of law.
The governor also called on the Federal Government to also use the effort used in arresting Nnamdi Kanu in a foreign country to do same to bandits and Fulani Militias
