It was a surprising day for a poor Carpenter who received a long time neighbor who paid him a surprise visit to pay him for his love while he was still a student.

A young man identified as, Onyebuchi Ememanka has taken to his Facebook page to express his gratitude to a poor neighbor which he borrowed money twenty years ago while he was still a student of Abia State University (Absu).

Onyebuchi Ememanka while appreciating the carpenter for his love and care towards him while he was living together in the same compound told eye witnesses and present neighbors that he will take the responsibility of training the carpenters son up to the higher institution.

He wrote:

"PAYING A 20 YEARS OLD DEBT

"Today, I decided to put a big smile on someone's face. When the Absu event was over, and on my way back I did a stop over the place where I use to live as a student on Agiriga street Okigwe.

"My mission was simple - to pay a surprising visit to my old neighbors who are mostly carpenters and petty traders.

"Sometime in 1998 and lived there till 2001 when I graduated. My brother Chiemezie Nwakanma was living there then and helped me secure the room. We were next door neighbors. Iyke Aeron and Chizuru later joined us there.

"There is this particular carpenter who was so kind to me then. He would do my carpentry works free of charge and will lend me money whenever i was broke. I didn't pay back most of those monies. The mbano man was just nice to me and treated me like his own son.

"The man has a penchant of speaking high sounding grammar and we named him the professor of carpentology, a title he cherishes so much. Hehehehehehe.

"17 years after, I stormed the place today and it was a big party. I ensured there were drinks of different kinds and food to go round. All the carpenters stopped work to welcome their old neighbor. The women were not left out.

"I told them stories how that Carpenter assisted me greatly and without seeking any pay back from me. I thanked all of them for the kindness and love they showed to me then. They were all amazed that I could still remember all of that after almost 20 years after.

"The carpenter had a set of male triplets while I lived there. They all grown now but one them works with him in his shop. He said the boy is brilliant but he has no money to train him in school. He lost his wife a few years ago.

"There and then, I announced that I will send him to the university and bear the cost of his training. There and then the man broke down in tears. I told him that his son should get a better life than he did. I am fully comitted to keeping that promise. I shall help secure admission for him and see him through school.

"Who knows? He may be the channel through which God will liberate the family from the vicious cycle of poverty and deprivation.

"It is a great day today as we drank and relieve old times. I ensure each of them got some small cash in their pockets.

"Before I took my leave, they all ask me to kneel down while they said some prayers that touched my soul.

"I felt a deep sense of fulfilment today. Yes"...

He narrated.

Wow good people still exist in this world, God bless him. Amen.

Senate Critisize, condemned President Buhari Letter over trip to the UK without Proper handover to the Vice President as Acting President

On the 9th May 2017 the senate President, Bukola Saraki read the letter of the president to the house over his trip to the United Kingdom on Medical Checkup.

President Mohammadu Buhari who travelled out of the country in the night to the United Kingdom on the 7th of May 2017 wrote to the upper chamber (senate) over his Medical trip to the UK.

See President Buhari's letter to the senate below:

"In compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution (as amended), I wish to inform the distinguished Senate that I will be away for a scheduled medical follow-up with my doctors in London. The length of my stay will be determined by the doctor’s advice.

“While I am away, the Vice President will coordinate the activities of the government. Please accept, the distinguished Senate President, the assurances of my highest consideration.”

Reacting to the letter, Senator Mao Ihuobunwa criticised the President's letter on his recent travel to the United Kingdom.

His words:

"Whenever the President transmits to the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives a written declaration that he is proceeding on vacation or that he is unable to discharge the functions of his office, until he transmits to them the written declaration to the contrary, such function shall be discharged by the Vice-President as Acting President.

“Mr. President, I don’t think in our Constitution we have anything like ‘coordinating president’ or ‘coordinating vice president.’ It is either you are vice president or you are acting president and any letter (on transfer of power) should be unambiguous and very clear. So, I am saying that this letter really does not convey anything because ‘coordinating’ has no space or any place in our Constitution.

“We have been having (receiving) letters like this in which he will tell us who is the acting president and we will know who to deal with as a Senate. This is the highest legislative body of any country and if you are sending us a letter, it should be direct, unambiguous. So, I am saying that this letter, for me, is not right and maybe it should be sent back.”

He said.
